Euro-Climhist, hosted by the University of Bern, collects weather and climate observations from documentary sources. It covers daily weather, extreme events, and long-term climate trends. It also includes the monthly weather reports of the Swiss meteorological service from 1861 to 1999.
Access is free but needs a one-time registration. Standard users get a weekly hit limit and results without full source citations. Researchers, students, archives, and museums can request scientific access to see detailed source references and full quotations.
