Statistics cheat sheet

Use the statistics cheat sheet as a short reference for the IMS self-study and the quiz.

It covers observations, variables, variable types, population and sample, contingency tables, bar plots, scatterplots, mean, histograms, median, quartiles, and box plots.

Every chart on the cheat sheet comes from a worked example, so you can see what each display shows and what it hides.

Download the cheat sheet as a PDF.

Statistics quiz slides

The quiz slides hold the 14 questions from Session 7. Each answer slide gives the reason and links to the matching part of the cheat sheet. Use them to review the quiz after Day 2.
